Collages are one of the most eye-catching effects you can create with your photos. And if you're not a Photoshop wizard, now you can easily create them with Shape Collage.
This free collage tool enables you to create all sorts of collages, from the standard rectangle-shaped ones to a collage with any shape you can think of: a circle, a heart, a user-defined text or a custom mask you can upload right into Shape Collage or draw with the program's built-in editor.
Creating a collage in Shape Collage is very easy. First import your images, then configure the collage's settings (shape, number of photos being used, space between them and more), check the result in the preview window and finally save it in JPG, PNG or Photoshop PSD. The only thing I didn't like about Shape Collage is that you can only preview the collage silhouette; if you want to see what the collage really looks like, with the actual photos, you need to save it first.
Shape Collage adds photos either as separate files or complete folders, and also supports drag-and-drop importing. Though the import of photos is instantaneous, generating the collage may take a while, especially if you use a few hundred images. But believe me, the resulting collage looks gorgeous with a large number of photos, and is well worth the wait.
With Shape Collage you can create photo collages of any size or shape in a few mouse clicks.
